This product won the Grand Prix / Japan Tourism Agency Commissioner’s Award in the goods/novelty category of the Souvenir Grand Prix 2015 sponsored by the Japan Tourism Agency of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport, and Tourism.

The Japan Tourism Agency Commissioner’s Award has been decided!

“Edo Glass Mt. Fuji Glass” from Tajima Glass Co., Ltd. has been selected as the highest award and the Japan Tourism Agency Commissioner’s Award, which is selected from a total of 478 prizes.
Mt. Fuji, which was registered as a World Cultural Heritage site in 2013, is blown into the bottom of the glass, and is a product that truly represents Japan as imagined by foreigners.

Goods novelty section Grand Prix

The total number of entries in the goods and novelty category was 200, and among them, the prestigious Grand Prix was “Edo Glass Mt. Fuji Glass” by Tajima Glass Co., Ltd., which won the Japan Tourism Agency Commissioner’s Award.

Handmade by an Edo glass craftsman, Mt. Fuji, which can be seen at the bottom of the glass, is hand-blown. Please enjoy Mt. Fuji, which shows a different expression depending on the color of the drink you pour.

The quasi-grand prix was awarded “Tamayura Miyabi-TAMAYURA-” by Akima Printing Co., Ltd.
