Each bowl is thoughtfully designed to enhance the color of the broth:

• Shoyu comes in a warm, slightly yellow-tinted white
• Miso in deep black
• Shio in soft light blue
• Tonkotsu in rich red

All feature an elegant brush-stroke finish and an original Yamanaka logo inside.

Despite its generous size, the bowl weighs only about 0.60 lb (270g), nearly half the weight of ceramic, making it easy to hold even when filled. It is also microwave- and dishwasher-safe, and its durable resin construction makes it resistant to breakage while stacking neatly for storage.

Every step—material shaping, lacquering, and maki-e decoration—is completed in Japan.
